Warehouse Inventory Specialist

1500+ person Manufacturing company with global presence, and a record of growth for the past 20 years is experiencing significant growth looking to add a Warehouse Inventory Specialist.

Job Description:

  • Manage a team of 5 in regards to managing inventory in the Warehouse which is attached to the manufacturing plant.
  • Maintain accuracy in inventory - ensure system matches physical stock through a process of counting and auditing.
  • Track and Analyze inventory sufficiency for Production - perform daily/weekly/monthly variances.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments...log all stock movements accurately.
  • Enforce FIFO/FEFO, labeling, and storage best practices to prevent loss, damage, or obsolescence
  • Create charts using MS Excel and present data in a graphical format to company management teams and customers.
  • Support receiving incoming materials and staging outbound shipments when needed.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse inventory control, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining >98% inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems ERP/WMS platforms.
  • Experience supporting shipping, receiving, and material staging activities in coordination with logistics and production teams.
  • Knowledge of warehouse practices, including 5S, space optimization, and inventory flow best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
