Job Description

A North Shore firm is looking for an experienced Trusts & Estates associate attorney to be based in their Northbrook, IL office. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly sophisticated team and work on complex, leanly staffed matters.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of experience in Trusts and Estates law, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate .

Responsibilities:

• Handle trust and estate administration matters, including asset collection, valuation, basis updating, and distribution.
• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax minimization, creditor protection, accomplishing family goals, etc.
• Draft various estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and more complex documents when required.
• Preparation of gift and estate tax returns.
• Represent clients in probate proceedings and provide guidance through the probate process.

• Gives attorneys fast and substantive experience
• 1400 billable hour requirement!
• Full time in office schedule
• IL bar license required
• Salary ranges up to $130K (base salary)
