Position: Senior Superintendent – Hyperscale Data Center

Location: Indianapolis, IN (On-Site)

Company: Top 25 General Contractor

A nationally ranked general contractor is hiring a proven Senior Superintendent to lead the field execution of a flagship hyperscale data center project in Indianapolis. This long-term, high-impact role is ideal for a senior-level leader with deep experience in mission-critical construction and fast-paced, high-complexity environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all site-level construction activities from groundbreaking to commissioning
  • Direct field teams, foremen, and subcontractors across all disciplines
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and execution of structural, architectural, and MEP scopes
  • Enforce jobsite safety, quality, and adherence to hyperscale client standards
  • Serve as the primary site lead and point of contact for owners, consultants, and trade partners
  • Oversee inspections, documentation, progress reporting, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with project management and commissioning teams to ensure project milestones and turnover targets are met
  • Mentor junior superintendents and field engineers

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 12–15+ years of commercial construction experience, with 5+ years in mission-critical/data center projects
  • Proven success delivering $100M+ projects as the lead field executive
  • Deep knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, and critical infrastructure coordination
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Skilled in project planning, risk mitigation, and real-time problem solving
  • Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera/MS Project)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Experience with hyperscale clients (Meta, AWS, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
  • Strong background managing high-performance teams on fast-track projects
  • Willing and able to be on-site full-time in Indianapolis for the duration of this long-term build
