Job Description

As a QC Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products by working closely with departmental managers, production teams, and suppliers. Your focus will be on reducing rework and waste while enhancing customer satisfaction. You’ll lead all final dimensional inspection activities, ensuring that products and documentation meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and report on Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects within assigned work scopes.
  • Verify the accuracy and compliance of all required component parts.
  • Complete various inspection, mechanical, and quality reports to required standards.
  • Ensure full traceability of parts and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Utilize various tools to perform dimensional quality control tasks.
  • Record and maintain traceable information necessary for product certification and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Technical:

  • Minimum of 2 years of dimensional inspection experience using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
  • Must have experience working with and inspecting mechanical pumps or similar apparatus
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, including GD&T and Critical Dimension reports.
  • Familiarity with reviewing MTRs (Material Test Reports) and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) certificates.

Operational:

  • Proactive in sharing relevant information with team members to streamline tasks and remove obstacles.
  • Quick to identify critical details and act decisively to maintain workflow priorities.
