The Marketing Specialist is an established performer who works to facilitate and support the General Marketing function and projects by utilizing strong knowledge of industry practices and standards. This role will support both paid and organic strategies, working to drive high-quality traffic, improve search engine rankings, and execute effective digital ad campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and Bing. As the SEM Specialist, you’ll play a key role in campaign strategy and execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure our search marketing efforts align with brand and business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Plan, build, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google, Meta, and other platforms. Facilitate the execution of customer requests to ensure delivery expectations are met.
  • Manage and monitor paid search and paid social media ads
  • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to improve ad creative, copy, and targeting.
  • Track and report on KPIs such as CTR, CPC, conversion rate, ROAS, and CPA.
  • Coordinate with creative and brand teams to develop compelling ads that align with campaign goals.
  • Conduct keyword research to inform both organic and paid strategies.
  • Assist with on-page SEO optimizations, including meta tags, headers, image alt text, and internal linking.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are implemented in blogs, landing pages, and product pages.
  • Help monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console and BrightEdge.
  • Work with analytics teams to assess campaign performance and uncover actionable insights.
  • Partner with web developers to ensure tracking and tagging are properly implemented.
  • Support integrated campaign launches by aligning SEM tactics with broader marketing goals.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 2-4 years of job-related experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • A good understanding of current and trending digital technologies, SEO, and keyword research tools is preferred.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and reporting dashboards preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are preferred.
  • Google Ads certification is a plus.
