We are actively recruiting experienced associate attorneys (2 - 4 years of relevant experience) and/or senior litigation attorneys (5+ years of relevant experience) to handle complex litigation and to manage cases in any of these areas: Business Litigation, Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation, Intellectual Property (Patent, Trademark and Copyright Infringement Litigation), DTSA and PUTSA Trade Secret Misappropriation Litigation and Employment Litigation including Non-Competes, Non-Solicitations and Restrictive Covenants.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead attorney or high-level support lawyer in all aspects of complex litigation matters;
  • Appear in depositions, client meetings and court proceedings;
  • Manage client relationships and participate in, or lead litigation teams;
  • Manage large document review, coding and production projects in a Relativity Database environment;
  • Conduct legal research and writing in commercial litigation matters;
  • Supervise and/or draft pleadings, discovery requests and discovery responses;
  • Lead, conduct and participate in networking and business develop meetings, articles and opportunities;
  • Participate in the firm's active social media, publishing and marketing activities;
  • Some travel required

Qualifications

  • Successful candidate(s) must have both a Juris Doctorate degree and be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. A license to also practice in West Virginia or Ohio a plus;
  • Resident of Pittsburgh or the close tri-state region preferred;
  • 2-4 years or 5 - 7+ years of commercial litigation experience for these two positions, including the responsibilities described above;
  • Courtroom experience;
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Excellent marketing skills or a strong willingness to participate in business development;
  • Good team leadership qualities;
  • Strong analytical skills
