ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

ExxonMobil is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to provide wells engineering technical expertise for its oil and gas development projects. The primary role and responsibility of the Wells Engineer at ExxonMobil is to collaborate with a multi-functional team to design, plan, and execute all wellwork operations (spanning from drilling, completions, to well management), in compliance with internal and external standards. Well management operations include all wellwork post-completion; inclusive of drillouts, remedial workovers, and plug and abandonment. Other responsibilities of a Wells Engineer include well cost estimates, operations surveillance and performance analysis, risk assessments, equipment selection and procurement support. Business needs, the candidate’s experience level, and areas of expertise will drive placement on a specific Wells team (team per asset/basin and discipline). We are looking for the best Experienced Wells Engineers to come join our Wells team!
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering discipline
Prior Wells Engineering experience, preferably 5 - 15 years
High level of personal and professional integrity. Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, able to manage self and lead others in a diverse work team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to adapt communication style between leading onsite team to relaying technical information to office based team.
Willing and able to travel to the well site to support global operations.
